Our Commitment

We insist on producing the most competitively priced top-grade materials through absolutely safe and sustainable processes.

*
Safety and sanitation have always been a crucial objective at Hodaka.

The company follows the PDCA cycle and invests considerable human capital in each operating procedure.
We identify potential risks during planning, actively implement and execute control measures, and perform periodic inspections to find areas that need improvement.
We expect to promote smooth operation and development while ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all employees (please link the PDCA in the picture to each item)

*PLAN

Objective - Improve safety, achieve zero accidents, and construct an exceptional healthy workplace.

In occupational safety and health management, we emphasize advanced planning and prevention and have devised an annual safety and health management plan to specify and execute every key point for safety and health, and track progress.
We use the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment system, from formulating policies and devising SOPs to executing operations to control potential hazards and adopt suitable protective measures, thereby ensuring staff safety.
For highly hazardous worksites that involve noise, dust, and high-temperature hazards, we ask all staff members to correctly use protective equipment in addition to eliminating the sources of hazards. Additionally, the company will arrange annual employee health checks and monitors operation environments to provide employees with a safe, healthy, and comfortable workplace. Special factory operations are regulated and included in the operation guidelines.
Mechanical equipment used within the company must be inspected before, during, and after operations by trained professionals through spot checks, automatic inspections, and overall inspections to ensure safe operations. The inspection operations must be thoroughly (100%) implemented in each plant.

*DO

Emergency response - Comprehensive fire, earthquake, chemical leakage drills are performed every six months.

All plant personnel must undergo training to reinforce response measures, including command, communication, fire fighting, evacuation, and rescue activities.

*
1. Educational training -

To protect employee safety and health, organize relevant mandatory recruitment training courses, and arrange various staff trainings to reinforce staff's safety awareness and skills.

* *

2. High-risk operations management -

High risk construction items must comply with the company's operation control procedures through strict approval and management.
These items include ignition, confined spaces (hypoxia), elevated platforms, hoists, high-pressure tanker load/unload, rooftops, steel structures, and external wall operations.

3. Contractor management -

To protect contractors from industrial accidents due to unfamiliarity to the company environment, all contractors must complete the hazard awareness training before entering and operating on the plant sites.

4. Safety and health meetings -

Safety and health meetings are periodically convened to discuss relevant items, elect employee representatives, and provide manager–employee communication sessions.

*

5. Health promotion

Employees are provided with a healthy workplace; we look after employee well-being, undertake corporate responsibilities and confront the potential threat of emerging infectious diseases, organize taskforces to assess subsequent impacts, and devise workplace vaccination response measures to protect employee health and encourage vaccination of employee family members, thereby enabling employees to work in peace.

*

* Promote team spirit - Health and peace for employee's entire family.
